- Isn't T3 (44.736 Mbps) in your range? That's now an ANSI draft
- standard, awaiting only final T1 ratification if that. It currently
- uses 802.6's rather baroque STS-like framing, but at least there are
- chips for it.

- The CCITT is defining a set of convergences for ATM over pretty much
- everything they know. These are based on the simpler hunt-for-header CRC
- method of framing. This may become an alternative standard for T3, E3
- (34 Mbps), and even T2 and T1. Of course, ATM over T1 is rather
- controversial.
