  15. Does anyone know how much consideration the ATM Forum
  16. has given to the EIA/TIA-598 premises wiring standard?  Or
  17. if ATM Forum members are also contributing to this
  18. standard?  The concerns that I have are 1) the termination
  19. connector for category 5 wire and how that relates to the 
  20. connector that the ATM Forum (or CCITT?) might be considering
  21. for ATM over TP, and 2) the distance that the EIA/TIA-598 spec
  22. gives as the maximum distance between the wire center and 
  23. a given end node (90 meters from closet to outlet and 3
  24. meters from outlet to endnode).  Is this a realistic distance
  25. (it sounds so to me but I just want someone more in tune with
  26. this stuff to verify.)
