-
- The name has not been finalized to my knowledge, although Mike Arras
- at least seems to be strongly in favor of comp.ai.fuzzy.
-
- I've seen the following names suggested (in alphabetical order):
-
- comp.ai.fuzzy
- comp.fuzzy
- sci.engr.fuzzy
- sci.fuzzy
- sci.logic.fuzzy
-
- Personally I like the sci.logic.fuzzy the best. It's clear and
- unambiguous, and doesn't make political statements about whether
- fuzzy logic is AI or not.
-
- Also, I have not seen a proposed charter posted yet.
-
- Please note the Followup-To line above. All discussion of proposed
- new groups is *supposed* to take place in news.groups. Also, for
- those people who are posting their votes, save 'em. We're not at the
- CFV (call for votes) stage yet, and even then you'll want to email
- them to the vote-taker, not post them.
