  13. I also couldn't figure out how to make the default permanent. Steve from NBI
  14. told me the following: edit the NBCUSTOM.SET file. After the line starting
  15. with NBIX= I had to delete three lines (I think) which began with an indent.
  16. Then there was a line with "FF= 5" in it. I had to delete the space after the
  17. = to get "FF=5". Then I stored NBCUSTOM.SET, quitted NB and started again.
  18. That worked. The menu commands didn't work.
  19.   That's what I remember right now, may be it's not all. Perhaps it gives you
  20. an idea to try.
