- "General Failure" is a DOS message that generally occurs when you try
- to read from or write to a disk that is corrupted, unformatted or
- improperly formatted for the version of DOS that you are using. Other
- things can cause it too, but a bad diskette is the most likely source.
- A bad drive might cause it, too.
