  24.    IPE is an electronic discussion list that will allow persons
  25.    around the world interested in International Political Economy to
  26.    discuss matters of mutual concern.  IPE is an unmoderated and open
  27.    list.  This means that all messages posted to the list will be
  28.    automatically redistributed around the world.

  30.    Possible topics for discussion on the list might include any of the
  31.    following:

  33.    1) Substantive discussion over topics such as NAFTA, regional trading
  34.    blocs, trade regimes, international debt, long cycles, historical
  35.    world systems, EEC, currency and market crises, democracy and
  36.    governance in Latin and South America, Africa and Asia, commodity
  37.    negotiations.

  39.    2) Comment and contributions on curriculum questions;  suggested
  40.    texts, new articles of common interest for course-related adoption.

  42.    3) Circulation of draft articles for comment and discussion.
