-
- A dinosaur? Most mailers will destroy an un-encoded file which is sent
- between unlike systems. A dinosaur?

- Oh, by the by, it is somewhat difficult to attach a previously created file
- to a letter you are currently writing all while using the SEND/FILE/VMSDUMP
- command. Nearly Impossible for the average user.
-
-
- In mail at the "mail>" prompt type:
-
- send/edit
-
- Then type your note. When you reach the section where you want the included
- file type either:
-
- Ctrl-Z if using an EDT editor, or
-
- Press the DO key (PF4 if you have no key labeled DO) and
- are using the EVE editor.
-
- Then, in either case, at the "*" or "command:" prompt type:
-
- include your_file_name.xxx
-
- In EDT you would then type a "C" at the asterisk to return to full screen
- mode.
