  21. I find demos to be, when done well, a sort of computer art. I mean, you've
  22. got graphics, you've got music, you've got slick algorithms producing
  23. spiffy effects... It's a multimedia exTRAvaganza! And all done for, well,
  24. for the hell of it.

  30. People are only bitching about C= not releasing the info we'd need to push
  31. the AGA as hard as the old chipset's been pushed.

  33. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Nobody writes in assembly. Portability is the wave of the
  34. future. Everybody should write things that are useful. If it runs too slow,
  35. just buy a heftier CPU.
  36. You know... this kind of attitude is /completely/ in opposition to the
  37. attitude of anyone who's going to be writing a demo. If you think demos are
  38. a thing of the past, and are written with utterly wrong ideas about
  39. programming methodologies... what the hell are you doing reading this
  40. group?
