  24. free clue, Paul.  _Society_ doesn't offer abstinence as an alternative
  25. to pregnancy.  Humor-impaired, anal-retentive control freaks, possibly
  26. religiously motivated, offer abstinence as an alternative to pregnancy.

  28. Seeing as how each and every one of us has a feedback loop between our
  29. brains and our gonads programmed into us that recurses about every ten
  30. seconds, I see no need to apologize for our fascination with sex.  Also,
  31. the psychological damage that comes when the sex drive is repressed or
  32. suppressed is well documented.  And considering that many readers of
  33. this forum (talk.abortion) are married or in committed relationships,
  34. your advice is just plain silly.
