- I have assembled a Holocaust bibliographic reference file, which is available
- to anyone and everyone requesting it. It contains over 1000 entries, and will
- prove an invaluable tool for anyone interested in learning more about the
- horrible events now referred to as the Holocaust.
-
- The file has been split (20 Oct 1992) into three pieces, to avoid breaking
- mailers. The first and second sections contain my bibliography, typing errors
- and all, and the third contains the UCSD Library list, which I received from a
- thoughtful user. Given time and energy, I will merge them and eliminate any
- duplicate listings; in the meantime, I will mail them to you separately.
-
- Although the Holocaust-deniers constantly refer to such references as those
- contained in the bibliography as "lies, forgeries, or statements obtained
- under threat of death," they have yet to respond to my challenge to provide
- a SINGLE piece of evidence that ANY of the 1000+ entries in the list fit ANY
- of the categories noted. As usual, when it comes to FACTS, they cannot
- provide them. (Responsible scholars understand that differences in
- viewpoint and recollection will always exist within any great body of
- historical reference - that is not disputed. For that reason alone, the
- enormous amount of material available to the serious Holocaust scholar is
- invaluable. I have produced this work not because I hold every citation to
- be "the absolute truth," but because I believe that the truth most
- certainly lies within these works; anyone truely interested in learning
- about the Holocaust will find the bibliography a rich resource.
-
- Although I had originally planned to publish my bibliography on a regular
- basis, it quickly grew to the point were it would have been downright
- inconsiderate to do so.
-
- You may obtain all parts of the bibliography by sending a message to:
-
- listserv@oneb.almanac.bc.ca
-
- and including this text in the message:
-
- send holocaust biblio.1
- send holocaust biblio.2
- send holocaust biblio.3
-
- .sig files may confuse my punch-drunk server, so delete them if you can.
-
- (You may _also_ receive the bibliography, mailed in three parts, by sending me
- a message with the word 'biblio' in the Subject: field. That way, I will
- also see the message, and respond to it, which wouldn't normally happen if
- you request the files from listserv.)
-
- If you have bibliographic citations I can add to the bibliography, or
- documented articles dealing with the subject of the Holocaust, I would be
- pleased to add them to the distribution archives.
