- Those of us who kill and eat animals invariably do so without the
- use of excess verbiage, since that would only rile the silly folk who
- think this sort of death and dismemberment unnecessary. "Two bacon"
- sounds a lot better than "two strips of pork flesh taken from the back
- of a hog while said hog squealed in pain, arteries spurting blood and
- the skin peeling back over the twisting, frightened animal like the
- skin of a large, bloody grape." Trust me (ObMovieReference), in a
- small state like Iowa we take our marketing of dead, charred animal
- flesh seriously.
