  12. I am relatively new to irc, but interested in knowing whether those channels
  13. on irc is somehow standard (eg. hottub, sherwood etc) because I saw them in 
  14. most servers. Or channels names are arbitrarily given. 
  15.  
  16. I am thinking of setting up a server for some special interest groups and 
  17. want to use their group names instead.
