  13. I have an Ultrix system and VMS system on the same ethernet...
  14. my VMS is running multinet.  FTP,telnet etc works great...

  16. When i'm on the Ultrix system, I
  17. % setenv DISPLAY wiley:0

  19. and try to run an x aplication.  I get a client refused connection
  20. error.  When I use

  22. % setenv DISPLAY wiley::0

  24. Decwindows stuff works, but I think the "::" tells decwindows to use
  25. decnet not tcp/ip.  Obviously, x apps don't like "::".  On my VMS
  26. system i have tye security set to * * *...

  28. Does multinet have to be set to accept x calls?  can someone point me
  29. in the right direction?
