- I have encountered the following problem:
-
- The system I am working with has been mechanically disturbed.
- I am told that the disturbance can be treated as Gaussian in
- 2-Dimension. The effect of this perturbation is further
- assumed to be low-pass filtering of the "true" image by the
- Gaussian disturbance noise. Is it valid to assume that the
- lowpass filter is Gaussian ? . If not, what is the right way
- to approach this problem?
- Thanks,
-
