  15. There is a paper published in Electronics World + Wireless World October 1992 
  16. (current issue) for a superb microphone amp aimed at professionals using DAT 
  17. where the average mic amp is terrible.

  19. The design is simple and is battery powered.

  21. There is a bit of history to this: we were offered the design for manufacture 
  22. some months ago but for various reasons it seems to have been declined. My 
  23. view after examining the circuit in depth is that the basic design is good 
  24. with few opportunities to improve it without resorting to significantly 
  25. increased complication and cost.
