- At first I thought you'd said "MGB" in which case I know the exact
- problem. However, the intermittent position means that it couldn't
- possibly be, and so I have only another suggestion, not an answer.

- There is a lot of linkage in a windshield wiper system. Make sure
- that all of it is well lubricated. (disconnect motor, lift arms and
- try linkage by hand - little or no friction should result)
