- I've never heard this description before... my experience with slicks
- (Goodyear Eagles, R029 compound, bias ply of course) was that they let
- go very smoothly and slowly. I much prefer this to the "snap" you get
- when radials let loose. But I've never heard of there being any
- significant difference in the way the tires let loose for treaded tires
- versus slick for the same construction.
