  12. Hello everyone,

  14.  I own a 1986 Ford Escort.  I was speaking with a mechanic today who
  15. mentioned that at around 60K miles, bad (terminal) things might
  16. start happening to my engine.  Specifically, he mentioned a chronic
  17. problem with timing belts.  Can someone comment on this for me? If this
  18. truly is a problem, what's the best method for fixing it?
