- Greetings fellow netters.
-
- While driving down the highway this afternoon, I glanced at my dashboard
- and was surprised to see my gas and coolant guages had quit (they were in
- the position they normally are after turning off the ignition).
-
- While I was wondering what could have happened, they suddenly came back
- on line (like they do when I turn the ignition on). This happened several
- more times before I arrived at my destination. A couple of times I tapped
- on the plastic cover and they came back on, but I don't know if the tapping
- actually caused they to come back on.
-
- The car is a 1988 Nissan Sentra two door sedan. Never had any electrical
- problems before. Any advice/suggestions as to how I can find the
- short/loose connection/whatever before I go tearing the dash apart?
-
- Thanks in advance.
-
- Jeff
