- Hi everyone, I found there is a strong relation between timing and smoking
- on my 82 Civic. Tuneup spec. says timing advance should be 18 degrees. I
- could never do that. If I put it at 18, it will knock like crazy and spit
- out lots of blue smoke regardless of engine temperature. Looks like ~7 to
- 10 degree is the biggest advance I can put on and the smoke will disappear.
