  11. I think a good pre-start heating system would be good. Instead of cranking
  12. the engine, plug your car in at night. At a pre-determined time in the 
  13. morning the engine block heater, the window de-icers, the seat-warmers
  14. and the battery heater would all come on. You could get in, start your
  15. car without worrying about oil gelling, and reduce your idling warm-up,
  16. saving you gas, plugs, etc.  And it would add to your comfort and 
  17. convenience, not detract.
