- Summary:
- Followup-To:
- Distribution: world
- Organization: The Ohio State University
-
- Background Info: 81 CJ-7, 106K miles, new coil, new fuel filter, manual
- trans, no AC, no power brakes.
-
- Problem Description: Starts and runs when cold, but it sounds rough, as if it
- were missing every so often. As the idle speed falls the engine runs rougher.
- The only way I can keep it running when the engine is warm is by turning up
- the idle. Will not idle below ~900 RPMs.
-
- Looking for suggestions. Carb problem? Vacuum leaks? Other??? Any help would
- be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!
