- What tests can I perform on my throttle pos. sensor to determine if it is
- functioning properly? I have a GM 2.8L engine (1988 vintage) that when I
- release the gas and engage the clutch the engine increases RPM by as much
- as 700+. At full stop, it will idle around 1500-1700 RPM and then drop down
- to 850 or so after about 5 seconds (this occurs with clutch in and in
- neutral or even with the clutch out and in neutral).
-
- Thanks,
-
