  17. I am auto-mechanically challenged, in the sense
  18. that the most complicated jobs that I have undertaken are
  19. changing the oil/filter, and changing the spark plugs.  Now
  20. I am in need of getting new brake pads for my MPV.
  21. I would have attempted to do it myself without a second thought
  22. if it were not the brakes and hence, a safety issue
  23. for the travelling public.

  25. I have looked at the haynes manual and the mazda shop
  26. manual.  The job does not look very complicated.  Is there
  27. anything that you all can tell me - such as common novice
  28. mistakes/errors or anything else you know ?  Please feel
  29. free to tell me that I shouldn't attempt this if that is your
  30. opinion.
