- Our company just recently bought some ZEOS 486 25/50's and a
- Gateway 486 25/50. The Gateway did significantly better on
- the Norton Util benchmarks (107 vs 77!!). We had a bad SIMM
- in one of our ZEOS computers. All the Gateways we have had so
- far work reliably (Gateway did have a reliability problem a
- few years ago with the "ugly box" 386'SX's).
-
- I would recommend Gateway. The delivery will be about another week
- more than they quote, though. It's expected in the industry today.
-
- Why a 33 Mhz? I recommend a DX2 25/50 Mhz, especially if you are
- doing CPU-intensite tasks like compilation.
