- As for the switching back and forth between Lingua and ASCII,
- I have had no problems at all. I am given _three_ (not four
- ) choices: Lingua, ASCII, and ASCII with true italic and
- superscript. I have set some of the regular colors differently
- in each so that I can tell which one I'm in (the true italic and
- lingua roman screen fonts seem the same, so I thought I'd need the
- help. I may change back later).
- I've got an ATI Wonder+ card running the video, so that may
- help to explain it, but I can go back and forth with no trouble (I
- just tried again, in another window (running under Desqview)). I've
- noted other problems, but this isn't one. The worst this gets is that
- when one goes from one of the ASCII's to Lingua, the screen blanks,
- amessage appears (resetting video [mode?]), and then, CTRL-H starts
- typing hebrew the "right" direction.
- I have noted that I still can't run NB _outside_ of DV, since
- the Alt key, upon being struck, becomes inalterably stuck, as it did
- in 3.0, and 3.1. None of the "unstick" programs have solved this
- one, and, upon quitting (since the alt key is stuck, Ctrl+Shift+Esc
- gets to the quit command, and, at least some of the time, the "y" is
- recognized, other times CTRL+DEL (making a C+A+D reboot) gets me out)
- the alt key is still stuck in DV, as is the rest of the keyboard, and
- is stuck(please ignore the last line, I forgot where I was, figuratively)
- the keyboard is hung, and I need to reboot to un stick it. I really would
- like to solve this one, but haven't found an answer in the years its
- occured.
