- I have installed NB4, but am resigned to using it only to keep up with
- discussions on this forum so that when I am ready to use it for real, I
- am that much farther ahead. I recognize in NB4 lots of nice features,
- but until we have a real ORBIS, I can only clap with one hand. With seven
- years worth of notes, using a designated keyword section, I am tethered to
- NB3 for now. I did notice that NB4 still responds to the old LDTB command,
- though not consistently. (If anyone figures out the pattern let me know.)
- But not surprisingly, upon returning from TB to NB4, there is no obvious way
- to pull selected notes out of memory. One could write-to-disk within TB,
- and write an XPL to call up the file automatically, but why go to the work
- of customizing NB4 just to get NB3 features.
-
- This is not a complaint. I knew I'd be getting a pre-release ORBIS. I
- didn't expect it to have a lobodamy (sp?) either, but I can't be too surprised.
- I guess what this is is a long sigh. More waiting.
-
- What I would ask is this: Is anyone out there beta-testing a more advanced
- version of ORBIS? I don't want to launch another round of speculations and
- dashed hopes, but if there is any indication how long it will take for a
- fully-featured ORBIS, judging from the state of the latest beta, please
- inform.
