  12. I would appreciate help installing and using Orbis.  I followed the
  13. installation procedure set-by-set and seem then able to generate a
  14. database--at least .DAT files etc show up in the Orbis subdirectory--but
  15. the final move of the installation attempt results in an "Internal Error 9009"
  16. message.  Orbis refuses to access the new .DAT files in its subdirectory.
  17. Relatedly, an attempt to set the Orbis options following installation via the
  18. SET menu prompts an "Install Orbis" message.

  20. Itmar suggests (a) not to lh nb--I didn't--and (b) to make sure, if I
  21. understood correctly, that the .TMP, .CTL, and .SUB files are in the
  22. appropiate subdirectory.  The only Orbis files I find anywhere--excluding the
  23. DAT et al files mentioned above--have the extentions .EXE, .HLD, .LST, and
  24. OVR by 3.
