- F2 does not bring up the default printer, it *sets* the default
- printer from the Activate Installed Printers menu. You set up the
- Lingua printer from the same menu: F3 edits the driver, and F2 makes
- it the default. The menu is really rather straightforward.
-
- The Lingua driver is not related to the Nota Bene driver at all--they
- are not interchangeable. I am sure that they share some elements, but
- it is disastrous to confuse them. To print Lingua files one *must*
- use the Lingua driver. It must either be activated anew each time you
- want to print, or made the default so that it loads automatically at
- program launch.
-
- The Lingua drivers currently do not support any font cartridges, and
- there is no present mechanism for making them do so. To make the
- various tables manageable, only the Lingua fonts provided by NB are
- supported by the Lingua drivers. Thus the only fonts available when
- printing Lingua files are the printer's internal fonts (Courier and
- Line Printer for the HPII printers) and the Roman, Cyrillic, Greek and
- Hebrew fonts supplied with Lingua.
