- Many thanks to Paul for the advice on installation. After clearing out
- some memory on my once-so-large 20 MB hard disk, I successfully installed
- NB4 with Lingua and Orbis (no Ibid., yet) and it appears to function as it
- should. Now, what shall I do with the old NB directory, into which is
- only partially installed NB4? Does it make any sense to keep it installed
- at all? (Since NB4 can automatically convert both regular and SLS files?).
-
- On another note, I played around with printers, and discovered that (as far
- as printing Latin alphabet and Cyrillic alphabet languages go) my Lingua
- seems happy enough driving my portable Toshiba 301 Expresswriter as though
- it were a Toshiba 341-351 Lingua printer. Unfortunately, my fixed printer
- (Star Micronics NX2400) doesn't seem to "fake" an Epson LQ800 as effectively.
-
- Thanks again; I agree with the view that the upgrade is probably worth it.
-
- Sincerely,
-
- Hugh Agnew
