- First, NB 4.0 did arrive in South Florida several days ago. So I've
- played with it.
-
- On William Turpins documentation question on Ibid: seems to be
- basically the same program as before with the new menu and a database
- switching option. Took me a couple tries to get that set right. So
- the 3.0 Ibid's docs should still work. Are you perhaps a new
- purchaser of Ibid and did NBI not send the regular docs?
-
- On 4.0 itself: The new menus are weird. The business of having F1
- always bring up the menu you were last using is unlike behavior on
- most other systems I've seen. On the other hand there's probably no
- major obstacle standing in the way of NBI having <ALT>-F bring up the
- files menu and <ALT>-E the Edit menu in sorta proper CUA style.
-
- We now have more possible function key combinations than WordPerfect
- (so there WP weenies!).
-
- I miss having the Info option in help. NBI or one of us should supply
- a new one.
