  13. First, NB 4.0 did arrive in South Florida several days ago. So I've
  14. played with it.

  16. On William Turpins documentation question on Ibid: seems to be
  17. basically the same program as before with the new menu and a database
  18. switching option. Took me a couple tries to get that set right. So
  19. the 3.0 Ibid's docs should still work. Are you perhaps a new
  20. purchaser of Ibid and did NBI not send the regular docs?

  22. On 4.0 itself: The new menus are weird. The business of having F1
  23. always bring up the menu you were last using is unlike behavior on
  24. most other systems I've seen.  On the other hand there's probably no
  25. major obstacle standing in the way of NBI having <ALT>-F bring up the
  26. files menu and <ALT>-E the Edit menu in sorta proper CUA style.

  28. We now have more possible function key combinations than WordPerfect
  29. (so there WP weenies!).

  31. I miss having the Info option in help. NBI or one of us should supply
  32. a new one.
