- Mike Agnes suffers in non-silence over the non-arrival of his NB4
- package. I suspect the clinker in the order is Ibid+, which boots him
- to the end of the list along with me. I really do believe it will come
- (even expect a UPS truck's arrive to be the Very One--though not so,
- so far), but having seen the betas, I may be more sure of what's
- coming and hence less impatient (or should I be more impatient?)
-
- My reading of Ed Mendelson's partisanship for NB is that he really
- thinks it's better than All The Rest, which he sees all around him in
- more depth than most of us. I work with users of the Others a lot, and
- while there's occasionally a function (graphical) that I could use in
- NB that isn't there, by and large the others drive me to distraction.
- I simply can't edit as quickly in any other package I know of.
- And lately, I've been impressed anew at how Very Slowly most Mac
- applications load, even on pretty fast, powerful new IIsi's, IIci's,
- IIcx's with plenty of memory...
