- Another copy of NB4+ORBIS+IBID has arrived at the Smithsonian (as a word
- processor not as an artifact). This one was ordered just a month ago by a
- colleague who had been using NB 3.1 for some time and was about to start using
- Textbase. I suggested that the new ORBIS might prove ultimately to be more
- flexible and (having some money left in a grant) he decided to give the
- upgrade a try.
-
- It may be that because I have IBID+ on order, I am at the end of the list.
- That's the most charitable explanation, and the one I'll assume for a few more
- days. According to the halting recording at the other end of NBI's 800 number,
- the last of the upgrades will be out the door by tomorrow night.
