- Does CMS 5.5 require VM/XA to run? We're running VM/HPO Rel 5 which going off
- support. We need to install IBM's C compiler Version 2 which requires 5.5 or
- higher. It has been suggested that we consider XA. Personally I would rather
- not change to another soon to be dropped OS. We're running a 4381 and we are
- using a 3990 controller which, via HPO gives us caching capabilities which we
- would lose if we went to ESA/370 feature. On the same note, does XA support
- caching?
