- This is none of my business, I suppose, but why on earth would you
- want to pre-change any of the passwords? Forcing the users to
- change their passwords the first time they log on should be considered
- a GOOD THING not a BAD THING. That way, they have a fresh password
- that only they know. If they forget a password, it is *not* desirable
- that the computing center be able to recover it for them. Rather, the
- computing center should be able to give them a new password that will
- only work one time, and they should once again have to change their
- password the first time they log on.
