-
- ACSL is a non-profit organization that administers computer
- contests for junior and senior high school students. Last year
- over 300 schools participated in the monthly contests, and 3
- Apple PowerBook 170's were awarded as top prizes.
-
- ACSL contests cover both programming and computer science. The
- regular season consists of four monthly contests. Contests are
- held at each school, with unlimited student participation; the
- school score is sum of its top 3 or 5 students. At the end of the
- season, teams from the top schools meet over Memorial Day weekend
- for head-to-head battle at the International All-Star Contest.
-
- More information about the organization, including a registration
- form and a few sample contest problems, can be retrieved using
- anonymouse ftp from the PostScript document in
-
- gatekeeper.pa.dec.com:pub/DEC/acslflier92.ps
