  15.     I'm the Audio-Visual Maintenance and Service Technician
  16. for Henry County Public Schools. I own a Mac SE/30 of my own;
  17. and I install software and work on Mac, Epson,Apple IIe,IIgs,C,
  18. and Plus computers and I even have to deal with those WIN
  19. computers from time to time.
  20.     Concerning your Problem. It has been noted in a recent
  21. issue of "MACUSER" or "MACWORLD" that is ROM's in LCII's and
  22. Clasic II's and all machines after have been altered (from the
  23. factory) so that no system below seven will work on them.
  24.     Personally I don't like system seven. I have
  25. "WORDFINDER+" on my computer and to use you highlight a word in
  26. your Wordprocessor to find an alternate word. Then you simply
  27. go into wordfinder+ choose word and selecte replace. it
  28. automatically update the word in the document. With system
  29. seven you have cut the word to the clip board go into the
  30. WORDFINDER (as Aplication) paste it; choose the word replace in
  31. Wordfinder, copy and then switch back to document and paste at
  32. proper location. A REAL HASSLE!!!
