  19.    I didn't mind Carl's post about what universities were doing to
  20. limit freedom (his opinion) even though I wondered what it had to do
  21. with operating a CWIS.  I didn't mind Gary Warner's post in response
  22. to Carl, because he did make some good points.  But this flame from
  23. Rita Marie Rouvalis is offensive to me because it adds nothing to any
  24. discussion on CWIS and because I see no point in publically ridiculing
  25. someone by claiming "they don't know what they are babbling about."
  26.   If Rita and Carl, et al want to debate this issue on and on, then it
  27. should be carried to e-mail.  As for CWIS, unless there is something
  28. else constructive to be said (such as a defense of why a computing center
  29. might want to control its resouces, budget crunches and disk space problems
  30. and all), then I would see that appropriate for discussion. But the flames
  31. should end sometime before lunchtime today.
