  13. INTERACTIVE ANIMATED EDUCATION

  15. Russell Hoffman of The Animated Software Company will discuss the nuts
  16. and bolts of producing educational tools using interactive animation.
  17. Hew isll show successful animations; discuss the Animated Software's
  18. proprietary animation lanugage; methods of manipulating bitmaps and
  19. bitplanes, movement; addressing techniques; timing considerations; and
  20. trade-offs between RAM, DISK, and CD-ROM.

  22. The meeting will take place at 6:30 PM on Thursday, September 17, and
  23. there is no charge.  Non-members are, as always, welcome to attend.
  24. Light refreshments will be served.  Metaflow Technologies has
  25. graciously lent us space for the tmeeting.  They are near University
  26. Towne Center.
