- I need a program which will estimate a spline transformation
- for a variable and subsequently give *predictions* for additional
- observations based on the estimated spline.
-
- I've checked SAS, S, BLSS, IMSL Fortran library, etc. with no success.
-
- A professor pointed me to netlib@research.att.com and to look
- in the "pppack" directory. However, I wonder if there are
- statistical packages or programs already written out there
- that will provide what I need?
