  11. I need a program which will estimate a spline transformation
  12. for a variable and subsequently give *predictions* for additional
  13. observations based on the estimated spline.

  15. I've checked SAS, S, BLSS, IMSL Fortran library, etc. with no success.

  17. A professor pointed me to netlib@research.att.com and to look
  18. in the "pppack" directory. However, I wonder if there are
  19. statistical packages or programs already written out there
  20. that will provide what I need?
