  32. This just goes to show you.  I have no doubt that Hannu and the rest
  33. of the Finns have heard of "Mickey Mouse."  How is it that "Popeye"
  34. does not have the same world-wide renown?

  36. For those who have never heard of him, Popeye is a fictional American
  37. cartoon and comic-strip character.  He is the one who gains superhuman
  38. strengh whenever he eats a can of spinach.  In his own dialect, his
  39. slogan is, 
  40.  
  41.            "I YAM WHAT I YAM, AND THAT'S ALL WHAT I YAM,
  42.             I'M POPEYE, THE SAILOR MAN."
  43.  
  44. With all that, no matter how many times he asserts, "I AM WHAT I AM,"
  45. he is still a fictional character.  Therefore, one may not prove the
  46. existence of a being solely on the basis that he is quoted as having
  47. said, "I AM WHAT I AM."  Let Popeye appear in thunder and lightning
  48. and smoke to six hundred thousand men with their wives and children
  49. and tell them, "I AM," and then I'll believe he exists.
