One publication, though quite specific in its target readership, is CHOICES.
This is a publication of the American Agricultural Economics Association. A lotof current issues are discussed (eg. GATT, specially the negotiations possible
effects on U.S. farm production and international trade position; topics on
natural resources; policy issues). The publication is devoid of mathematical jargon (except the occasional contribution: eg. "Why Farmers Solve Equations?" by Richard Levins from the University of Minnesota, 1988).
