- Whoops that should be depends... Ekr, you are really slick.. Are you
- sure you aren't a lawyer or a politician.. I had to read each and
- everyone of your articles to find out where you stand and I'm still
- not sure *sheesh*.... Anyway I'm clear enuf to deal with this (I
- think) so here goes...
-
- Now (for clarities sake) I'm gonna repeat somethings let me know if
- I'm wrong...
-
- The begining: The golden rule: Do unto others as you'd have them do to you.
-
- You say: this makes it ok to cocerce other into doing what you want
- them to do.
-
- We say: bullshit!
-
- That works right?
-
- Well, then (rather than some long arguement). Say I see some
- cute guy and say to myself if I were straight I would want to be made
- gay so I could sleep with him". Does that give me the right to find a
- straight boy and force him to have sex with that guy? No of course
- not. The golden rule here can be used against itself. It says that
- You should not force someone to do what they don't want to do because
- you wouldn't want people forcing you to do things that you wouldn't
- want to do.. I.E. a christian being forced to kill their child. Now
- you can say Oh, if I were sick I would want somebody to heal me, BUT
- that assumes that you are sick. What you beleive is irrelevant. You
- cannot force someone to get "well" because you *think* they are sick
- the golden rule say not to force people to do something against their
- will.. If they said "I'm sick help me" thats different.
-
- *take that and shove it in your holy hard-drive*
-
- I'm outta here..
- sorry for all the typos but the system load is too high to bother to
- check for them... :)
