- Hi!
- I just bought a 1976 blazer from a good friend that had
- a 350 small block and has been converted from an automatic to a
- granny gear 4-speed. Is there any way to put a 5-speed into
- this vehicle? I know theres a 5-speed form 1992 trucks and such but
- they cost like $1200-$1500 and i don't have that much money.
- I was mainly looking for a way to get better gas mileage from
- this engine. I'm replacing it with a built one in two or three months
- and wanna have a lower RPM, higher top end and this i hope, can be
- established with a 5-speed.
- Any suggestions?
- thanx
