  20. auto-mechanics I know is a.) Female  b.) Never got involved in  mechanics 
  21. util she was 21.  True that some of the best international Harvester 
  22. Tractor Mechanics may be 65+, but many of the best I know have not grown up 
  23. as motorheads (as I did).

  28. There are quite a few good books that teach automechanics.  One was 
  29. mentioned in the  post before this one, and quite a few others exist.
  30. One is the "Everymans guide to Fixin' Cars."

  43. I guess I would like a bit of specifics.  I agree with part of your point 
  44. that experience is a great help in the a. mechanics wourd, but most of this 
  45. can be made up for by asking others.
