- Reasons are probably (but I'm no expert):

- 1) More apparatus to get in the way
- 2) Could burn the operators
- 3) Hot wire would be weaker than the cool tempered stuff
- 4) If the adhesive is something like silicone, the wire would have
- to be REAL HOT before it would do any good
- 5) It's not required
