- Toyata tells me that only genuine Toyata Oil filters have a
- mechanism inside them that preventsall the oil from draining into the oil
- pan. This they claim, helps reduce engine wear on start-ups. I was
- thinking of switching over to Toyota Filters (1986 Chevy Nova) but my car
- has been running smoothly for 126k on Group 7 Filters.
- Has anybody used both, and notice a Diffrence. (I have treated the
- engine w/ Slick 50 at 100k). How does the mechanism work in the filter?
