- I would second this. I have had two engines from birth (aka I
- bought new), that cleared 100,000 and when I started to disassemble them
- the pan(s), covers, etc. were quite clean. No slag buildup. I have never
- used a synth oil (though this doesn't mean they don't work) only Castrol
- (also).
