- Hello all,
-
- I have a problem I'm hoping someone can help me with. On my '80
- Toyota Corolla my right rear wheel has a side to side wobble when I
- drive. I changed the tire with my spare and had the same problem, leading
- me to suspect my axle is bent. Is this likely? If my axle is bent is
- there a way to repair it, or will replacement be necessary? How much
- will something like this cost? Should I be worried about driving the
- car in this condition? Is this a job I can do, or am I better off
- with an experienced mechanic?
-
- The wobble is pronounced when viewed, but I can't detect it when I'm
- driving. The bolts all feel secure, so I don't suspect those.
-
- Feel free to e-mail me or post. All help is appreciated.
