- But people ALREADY can get all the CC decks that they want. Unless they
- have a silly rule that "only one recordable audio medium is allowed per
- household" they're not going to trash their present tape decks, and so I
- don't quite see the supposedly huge advantage of DCC. It's really not like
- computer software that way, I believe.

- The convenience and gee-whiz advantages of MD are apparent.

- If I were a marketdroid, I would argue that as sound quality is irrelevant,
- people are more willing to pay CD-type prices for a MD because it looks and
- acts like one, rather than CD-prices for something that looks like a
- cassette.

- So Sony will make more money. Not to mention MD's utility in the computer
- market, whereas DCC has none. (DAT and 8mm have taken that niche already).
